Kimitec Group

Using four sources of natural raw materials: botany, microalgae, green chemistry, and microbiology. These four natural sources, treated individually and with standardized procedures, would never get the same effectiveness as a solution of chemical synthesis. However, with the application of biotechnology coming from other sectors such as food and medicine, and the synergy of these natural raw materials managed to meet or exceed the same efficiency percentages compared to traditional chemical solutions, but without its harmful effects to the human and the environment. For this we relate sustainable alternatives in agriculture to chemically synthesized pesticides; as well as in livestock and fisheries to the indiscriminate use of antibiotics. We stand as an effective, natural, sustainable, and healthy solution for agribusiness, making us a key piece in the supply chain.

1. Why are we different?

In Kimitec Agro we have spent more than 10 years developing solutions to carry the seeds to their maximum genetic ability thanks to the use of nutrition that searches to increase the quality and the yield of the crops. We get formulations that carry out two objectives, an obsessive vision since the beginning of Kimitec Group, resulting from the sum of our two great strengths: the knowledge in organic chemistry and the deep knowledge of crops.

With yields from our extensive field experience, we have acquired a deep knowledge of organic chemistry. Being present in more than 90 countries, has allowed us to know in depth the necessities of crops worldwide, their metabolic processes, and the benefits that each element has on the plants. From trace elements, macroelements even until phytohormones and amino acids.

Thanks to this Know-How, we have a series of tools for optimal crop physiological functions that would be normally less efficient. For example, we have tools that biotransport immobile elements such as calcium and others that improve the nutrient bioavailablilty which are blocked in the ground by extreme frost and pH, thus allowing the crop to nurture better.

In addition to these tools and the deep knowledge in organic chemistry, we know another series of external agents like climatology, irrigation systems, and the forms of applications that we can adapt the formulation of the product to achieve the most yield out of the crop.

This system has allowed us to involve all the departments of the company to bear the next generation of biofertilizers: the intelligent biofertilizers. Biofertilizers arising from the Kimitec technology, where biotechnology and nature walk hand in hand.

Kimitec Technology

The Kimitec Technology boils down to the combination of organic chemistry, microbiology and formulation.

To the organic chemistry, previously explained; it joins our knowledge of soil probiotics, enzymes, and bacterial fermentation brought by Agrocode . Making a soil repopulation and the utilizing enzymes and secondary metabolitos coming from the incorporation of a microorganism to the fermentation process, we were able to harness the effect of the culture doing it more efficiently.

After having located the metabolic processes of the crop by means of organic chemistry and the microorganisms that are going to harness the effects in the culture, we are left to formulate the product so that it is totally adaptable for the destined market. With Kimitec Technology, at the time of formulating, we consider the following parameters: solubility, absorption, stability, bioavailability, and mobility.

  • Solubility
    Our products present a high solubility because we work with raw materials of high purity and quality. In some cases, our formulations appear in an organic complexed form increasing their stability and solubility for the preparation of the applications to our cultures. With our highly soluble solutions we were able to avoid the clogging of drippers, filters, fertigation equipment, and pulverization equipment.
    This way, in reduced volumes of water, we can use a greater amount of product per liter, obtaining a greater concentration without generating precipitates. Considering this parameter, we will be able to make an optimal management of products in zones where the water is scarce. The more soluble it is, the more concentration we will have with smaller amounts of water.
  • Absorption
    With respect to the absorption, we formulated our products with raw materials on the basis of a small sized particle; facilitating the foliar and root uptake. With a smaller sized particle, we were able to better foliar penetration, better absorption to roots and, with it, an increase of the harvest yield because the plant needs less energy to assimilate the nutrients. In addition to this, with a small particle size, we can reduce the amount of fertilizers while reaching the same result.
  • Stability:
    Thanks to the process of centrifugation, filtration, microfiltration, heat treatments, and the use of insolubles and preservatives; We eliminate the dregs and solids in suspension of our solutions making them homogeneous and stable. In this way, we avoid the product loses and maintain a pathogen-free formulation
  • - Bioavailability and mobility
    Blocks are often produced in soil by extreme conditions causing the crop to lose its nutrient uptake ability. With this block, an insoluble paste forms that prevents the nutrients from being bioavailable to the crop.
    In Kimitec Agro, we develop formulations with stable, complexed, chelated, or united compositions with organic molecules; that break these chemical blocks allowing the nutrients to be absorbed by the crop and remain unchanged against pathogens.
    Finally, another aspect to be highlighted in this part of the formulation is that we incorporate surfactants. With these compounds, we get addition help, above all in the foliar application processes; thanks to the improvement of the formation of spray. In this way, particles are smaller, and therefore the distribution of the product will be distributed equally by the entire leaf.

Agrocode

Why was Agrocode born?

AGROCODE was born in 2010 to offer botanical and microbiological solutions to organic farming. So far, the sector consists of NPK enterprises, specific nutrition companies, and enterprises of chemical pesticides. The sector, dominated by these multinationals, undergoes a paradigm shift causing a 180 degree turn in the rules of the game.

The large distribution chains such as Tesco, Walmart, LIDL, ALDI and Carrefour, defend the end consume by deciding to delegate rigorous quality controls to limit the number of active ingredients of chemical synthesis permitted in the crop treatments.

They who buy agricultural production limit the presence of active ingredients of chemical synthesis in harvests to a maximum of seven; coming to reduce it to three in some retail chains and, on the horizon, supermarket chains such as SAINSBURY are walking towards a 2020 with zero residues.

Before this model of no return, producers were left without solutions to combat and control the same pests and diseases in crops, but with a smaller number of solutions. For this situation, a group of biotechnological companies are breaking through on a new sector: Bioprotection of crops. Organic and non-residual solutions, compatible and respectful with the environment, that allow the farmers to control their crop while also fulfilling the exigencies of great distribution chains.

Under this change of context, AGROCODE was born to cover an unsaturated sector offering organic solutions, with a botanical and microbiological base, applying its own technologies from the pharmaceutical, feeding, and cosmetic industries, homogenously, with the same efficiency as a chemist and completely residue free. A small market niche has become a global challenge of great dimensions.

How is Argrocode different from the others?

Agrocode aims to design, optimize, and produce a new generation of biopesticides and naturally occurring multifunctional probiotics. For this, Agrocode has obtained one unique adaptation of the scientific method to technological processes to obtain formulations, based on the principles of green chemistry and marking the difference with any product of the competition. In order to obtain effective solutions, we count on four great blocks of natural sources: botanical, microbiological, microalgae, and green chemistry.

The majority of multinationals are faced with a plague, disease, or nutritional problem by the chemical synthesis of individual molecules keeping high persistence with a unique action specific mechanism. This causes the rapid emergence of cross resistance (pests and diseases) or efficiency lose (fertilizers) of the product, as well as the negative impact on the environment and human health.

From the application of our method, each one of our formulations integrates up to 6 different natural components that translate to great versatility of action mechanisms, effectiveness, and homogeneity. Resulting from the application of our method we are matching and/or surpassing the effectiveness of products of conventional syntheses simultaneously with the advantage to attack the problem directly related to the development of crossed resistance. We are promoting the green economy and helping us return to more sustainable agriculture.
